Job description: Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, Alberta Renal Program – North (AKC-North) this Administrative Support V position will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Patient Care Manager and Unit Managers of AKC-North. The incumbent will provide a high level of professional and well organized support for the Management team. It is expected the incumbent works capably and independently displaying excellent judgment and interpersonal skills. The incumbent will utilize their experience to prioritize workload, determine the process by which work is accomplished and perceive and anticipate departmental and administrative needs. The incumbent will use their skills and knowledge for a wide range of duties including: Coordinates PCM/UM schedules, creates and distributes meeting agendas, takes minutes, books rooms, teleconference lines. Prepares and handles confidential documentation on behalf of management team. Assists with recruiting process by creating postings, setting up interviews and onboarding staff. Collects, collates and completes specified monthly and adhoc reports. Provides support in developing analysis and documentation related to patient satisfaction surveys, policy work, education initiatives, including entering and extracting data, tracking trends, etc. Creates program newsletter. Develops and manages various spreadsheets, databases and graphic presentation as required. Arranges travel, ensuring adherence to AHS policy and procedure. Maintains a filing system, both hard and soft copy for easy access and retrieval of documents. Orders office supplies.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration). Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in progressively responsible administrative position. Intermediate computer skills are required, including use of Windows, MS Office, Lync/Skype for Business, Oracle, ESP, and PeopleSoft. Possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Possess and demonstrate a high degree of initiative, organizational and problem solving skills. Demonstrate the ability to interact in a positive manner with others. Must maintain privacy and confidentiality with sensitive information and situations. Possess and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications:

An equivalent combination of skills and experience may be considered.
