Job description: ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIAN – ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE
(REPLACEMENT 4-5 MONTHS)

We are looking for an Administrative Technician to work in our Financial Resources Department. The incumbent performs work related to financial management, work organization and planning the execution of complex administrative and accounting work by collecting and analyzing data.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Produces billing for expense reimbursements;
  • Registers invoices by journal entry;
  • Produces statements of accounts receivable and collection;
  • Claims costs for out of province patients on the RAMQ website ;
  • Collects, controls, prepares deposit receipts and makes deposits to the bank;
  • Prepares journal entries, record and analyzes the accounts;
  • Prepares various month-end entries and reports;
  • Prepares and sends budget reports to the various departments and follows up on research projects;
  • Participates in the year-end process and in the production of the audit file;
  • Communicates effectively and responds to clients’ questions.

Requirements :

  • College diploma in accounting or any other combination of training and experience deemed equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of the Lawson software – an asset
  • Bilingualism (French and English)

Competitive salary
22.23 – $29.05 per hour
