As an advisor in IT security business architecture, you help protect IT hardware, software and information against modification, destruction and unauthorized disclosure, as well as ensure authentication and access control by designing, administering and maintaining proven security systems. You analyze IT systems and oversee the development of protective measures to back up, restore and secure systems.

You lead and influence development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors. You help develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field.

You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

You serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert, as well as resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies.

General Information on the Position

Additional responsibilities

• Participate in strategic planning related to security
• Document, prioritize and monitor security initiatives
• Monitor the risk ecosystem and observe the security field
• Document and monitor developments in the field’s control effectiveness capabilities
• Ensure that maturity targets are reached in relation to various control frameworks (ISO27002, NIST, other)
• Monitor the security field
• Ensure alignment with the three-year strategic planning and the investment plan
• Follow the 360-degree vision of the security tools related to the field
• Define and produce performance indicators for the field
• Lead the prioritization committees for the field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or in a related field
• A minimum of eight years of a relevant experience
• Experience in governance, application protection, information protection and workstation protection
• Experience in cryptography, infrastructure security, and identity and access management
