Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division is seeking an experienced and resourceful Agriculture Customer Project Manager, to join our high-tech engineering and manufacturing company that is committed to customer service excellence and continuous improvement. Your role within the team will be pivotal to the successful planning and coordination of projects that help to grow the business and to achieve relationship excellence with our customers. Additionally, you will continue Hexagon’s proven success in enabling the next revolution of Positioning and Autonomy in exciting markets as part of the team who defines and brings key technologies to the market.

As a preferred supplier of high precision positioning technology, our Agriculture customers develop solutions and services that solve many of the world’s most exciting and difficult positioning & autonomy challenges – assured autonomy and positioning for agriculture guidance and precision farming systems.

This position is with Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division, a global technology leader, pioneering end-to-end solutions industry leaders rely on for assured positioning and autonomy on land, sea, and air. Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand(s) NovAtel, AutonomouStuff, VERIPOS and Antcom.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities

As the Agriculutre Project Manager, you will be responsible for these tasks:

• Plan how best to represent the company’s value proposition, products and services related to our customers’ Agricultural positioning needs
• Lead management of projects and schedules that pertain to the customer
• Facilitate communication between functional departments in both companies and lead business review meetings
• Ensure timely execution of customer requirements & expectations
• Organize strategic business initiatives between the company and customers to deliver premium products and experience
• Facilitate risk identification and qualification. Develop proposals for risk mitigation and coordinate appropriate risk management activities
• Ensure any potentially critical events are identified, understood, and escalated to leadership
• Identify and recommend steps to remediate any emerging issues
• Provide proactive communication to appropriate team members and managers regarding trends

Qualifications

Must-have:

• 5+ years of program or project management or technical account management experience
• Degree in Technical, Business, or Marketing related field
• Basic understanding of the product development processes
• Strong business & financial acumen
• Strong written and oral communication skills from both technical and commercial business perspectives
• Ability to travel up to 50% (post-pandemic scenario)

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in Precision Agriculture markets is highly preferred
• Experience working for or with, large OEM accounts or other providers of Agriculture technology solutions
