We are looking for an exceptional Agriculture Equipment Technician to join our team in Vegreville. Experience as an Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred (agriculture experience isn’t required, but would be a bonus).

What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?

• Working on a wide range of agriculture equipment and brands such as:

• Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Rogator, Cub Cadet, Caterpillar agriculture products and more;
• Large agriculture equipment to lawn and garden equipment (the type of equipment can vary by region); and
• Skid steer loaders, loaders, telehandlers and excavators.
• Working on diagnostics, electrical work, general repairs, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections of equipment.
• Responsible for needing to complete pre-season inspections and updates to equipment.
• Involved in Manufacturer training.
• Completing detailed notes on work orders and making recommendations for additional work that should be considered for the equipment.
• Completing work in the shop and/or field as needed.
• Demonstrate and be knowledgeable in diagnostic processes and heavy equipment overall.

What are we looking for?

• We are looking for a Journeyperson Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred (will also consider apprentices or other trade qualifications).
• Someone that has experience with agriculture equipment would be a bonus (including experience growing up or working on a farm), but not required.
• Someone who is a problem solver, finding solutions to complex repair or diagnostic challenges.
• Someone who is Proficient with computer and electrical diagnostics (CANBUS troubleshooting and using an Electronic Scan Tool).
