Your Role and Responsibilities
This position resides in Ottawa, Ontario and is a 12-month work term commencing May 2021. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.

The IBM Canada Advanced Studies (CAS) team is looking for a talented and highly motivated individual who is seeking to expand and apply practical knowledge of AI technology. This student will work with an experienced AI educator and a diverse team of technical interns. The ideal candidate will build hands-on exercises to teach AI/ML/DL while developing course and capstone project ideas. The ideal candidate will develop sample implementations and deliver workshops to students and professionals.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Must be eligible for a 12-month work term starting May 2021
• Co-op or internship program enrollment is mandatory
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of AI/ML/DL
• Writing skills

ability to translate academic and research-focused language for a general audience * Attention to detail with basic understanding of data and information flow

• Apply your critical thinking skills to review, vet and test curricular content

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Participation in campus societies or groups
• Familiarity with IBM technology
• Interest in academic research and graduate studies
• Experience with peer tutoring, TAing or other learning facilitation
