Job Description

The Allocations Analyst is responsible for ensuring physical inventory is available on time, in the correct channel and in quantities to fulfill sales orders for all sales channels. The Allocations Analyst works cross functionally with Retail Specialists, Inventory Control, DTC & Wholesale Planning and Logistics in performance of daily duties. These duties include managing timely finished goods allocations, ensuring global priorities are maintained and supporting inventory alignment

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure automated daily allocations have run successfully based on established hierarchy
  • Review and maintain allocation scenarios
  • Provide allocation information to all sales channels: Wholesale, CG E-Commerce & Retail, Retail Distributors and Global Retailers, Warranty, Marketing and VIPs
  • Investigate unallocated units with Inventory Control to identify risks to monthly shipping flows and advise Sales of impacts
  • Manage intercompany bulks and provide daily in-season validation/reports
  • Manage intracompany transfer orders and provide daily in-season validation/reports
  • Respond to inventory availability inquiries from all departments
  • Manage order entry for all internal & external partner sales and product requests
  • Provide cross-functional team support, help troubleshoot issues that impede the completion of sales orders and intercompany transactions
  • Perform Sales Operations project work, other duties as required
  • Ad hoc reporting

Who You Are:

  • Experience in retail/manufacturing and/or distribution environment strongly preferred
  • Post-Secondary education in with a focus on Retail, Business, or Distribution environment
  • A minimum of 4 years account management experience with a premium brand
  • Experience working within an ERP system environment
  • Ability to effectively present to groups and engage all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the premium retail landscape
  • Analytical skills combined with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
  • Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and know when to seek guidance
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and problem-solving attitude. Able to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well-thought out conclusions
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word and Excel
