In your role, you will:

Analyze & improve current financial processes including:
–
Data extraction
–
Data modelling
–
Reporting
–
Accounting practices
–
System issues
–
Contribute to the development of the technological architecture for financial data
–
Work in close collaboration with other finance & operational teams to understand business requirements
–
Explore & test new technologies
–
Provide coaching and training to the finance community
–
Guide finance & operational teams towards actionable key performance indicators
–
Lead & support change management initiatives related to financial process innovation
–
Build a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and technological adoption
–
Have fun!
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
– You hold an accounting designation (CPA) and have high knowledge of accounting standards.
– 5 to 10 years of experience
–
You demonstrate initiative and independence in carrying out multiple tasks, as well as strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills while being humble and open to the ideas of others.
–
You love to work with data, have strong analytical skills and synthesis capability.
–
You have knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems or are eager to learn.
–
You are rigorous, autonomous and action oriented.
–
You have a high level of integrity and strong sense of personal ownership and accountability.
–
You have advanced knowledge of the limitations of traditional MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and would prefer not to work with these if given the opportunity.
–
You are a Power BI wizard or eager to learn.
–
You understand data modelling concepts and database structure requirements to maximize the value of data.
–
You have a strong team spirit, leadership and flexibility.
–
You build and maintain beneficial relationships with your peers, partners and customers.
–
You have good spoken and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of French & Spanish are a considerable asset.
–
You are perpetual student of your craft.
–
You are at ease preparing reports with an artistic style that meet the requirements from C-Suite to shop floor
