The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.

This is a role that will help to support the overall project delivery of transforming our Finance organization to meet the future needs of our business. As part of this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with internal stakeholders across the finance organization, developing and facilitating the implementation of the future state operating model and supporting the adoption of a diverse portfolio of strategic and transformative change initiatives within the Finance Transformation program.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Act as a liaison between finance teams and leadership, identifying areas for change and desired future mode of operation
  • Design the future state by applying design principles to current state processes while collaborating with subject matter experts; this will include but not be limited to organization design, process design and work rationalization
  • Develop and execute work plan for future state operating model implementations to successfully deliver on key milestones and target go-live dates
  • Work collaboratively with project and program managers & the change management team to ensure key target operating model deliverables are aligned with change management initiatives and data & technology enablers
  • Assist in preparing clear and concise summaries of current state information to influence key decisions at the senior leadership level
  • Lead strategic meetings and workshops with subject matter experts across the Finance organization, maintaining professionalism and managing key messaging

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Degree in business/finance/accounting or organizational change management related discipline
  • Well versed in key finance processes, finance transformation and process improvement principles
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Proven experience leading projects from initial vision setting to post implementation change sustainability
  • Excellent communicator and effective leader with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders
  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • Self starter with high degree of initiative and energy level
  • Ability to analyze results, identify underlying business trends and develop recommendations for future actions in conjunction with key stakeholders

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
