Overview

Under the supervision of the Promotion Strategy Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the merchandising and marketing teams to ensure the smooth running of promotions in the various systems.

Job description

  • Integrate complex promotion data into the system;
  • Analyze data issues related to complex promotions and collaborate with the merchandising and marketing teams to resolve them;
  • Review upcoming promotions daily, verify the accuracy of data in the system and correct errors if necessary;
  • Carry out close follow-ups with the various stakeholders in order to meet the deadlines required for printing the flyer;
  • Produce ad hoc reports at the request of the merchandising and marketing teams;
  • Participate in the resolution of problems encountered in the context of the creation of promotions
  • Ensure the integrity of data in the system regarding promotions, taking into account the various projects or process changes
  • Participate in special projects in collaboration with the various teams in Quebec (marketing, marketing, finance, etc.) or nationally.

Job requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or another related field, combined with 2 years of relevant experience;
  • You have an excellent command of the MS Office Suite;
  • You have in-depth knowledge in Excel
  • You have a good spirit of analysis and synthesis and you distinguish yourself by your ability to understand and interpret data;
  • You are recognized for your customer orientation, your team spirit and your ability to adapt;
  • Excellent command of oral and written French
  • Written and spoken English language, advanced level. The individual will be required to work with their peers in other provinces in the design, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, and also provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada. 75% of the time the teammate will have to use a language other than French.
