About the role

The Finance Transformation & System team is looking for a Senior Business and Functional Analyst. Temporary position – maternity leave replacement.

YOUR ROLE:

The Principal Analyst will be part of the team responsible for the administration of the Oracle Cloud ERP (GL) business solution as well as all other modules of the Oracle Cloud Fusion suite, (AP, AR PO, etc.). He will also be required to participate in various projects involving financial systems.

Main responsibilities:

Cloud Applications – Oracle Cloud Fusion:

• Understand business processes and systems as well as master the different data flows
• Support administrators of the ERP Cloud application in production: review and control of updates and configuration changes following metadata changes, supervise user support (daily and monthly),
• Coordinate the development of documentation and forms to meet user needs
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors on the processes and controls carried out on the ERP
• Participate as a key business partner during multiple internal integration projects as well as for the deployment of upcoming Cloud modules. In both cases:

• Ensure that requirements are understood and respected
• Be able to assess the impacts on the system and on users if applicable o Act as a change agent and assist partners in change management.
• Contribute to the development of acceptance testing (UAT) efforts and facilitate the work of business people

Your skills :

• BAC in business administration, accounting, finance or computer systems management, or relevant experience
• Relevant experience working with Oracle products, a major asset
• Knowledge of accounting. The CPA designation is an asset
• • Experience with controls and auditors is an asset
• 10 and more relevant experience
• Experience with large-scale projects, desirable
