Part-Time Hourly Production Assistant, Anthropologie

Production Team

Overview

Support the creative team by facilitating sample movement and production related tasks for creative shoots. This person will assist on both studio and locations shoots, including sample and set packing, loading, set up, movement during shoot, and breakdown. Must be willing to do heavy lifting and comfortable working with a tool kit.

Responsibilities

· Assist producers, stylists, photographers and merchandisers with various tasks through all stages of production

· Locate product samples around campus; work with merchandisers and buyers to ensure all product is available for shoots

· Carefully pack and load product samples, photo equipment, styling tools and production supplies for shoots; transport to and from shoot in studio or on location

· Build sets for shoots, including sourcing materials, painting, assembling existing sets and constructing new sets as needed

· Work with creative team to set up for each shoot and handle all product, set materials and photo equipment installation on set as needed

· Break down sets after photo shoot, including returning product to designated locations, storing production supplies and set materials neatly and clearing set/shoot location of all trash

· Transport talent and crew to/from set

· Perform runs for production as needed

· Able to drive large rented box trucks and vans around campus and to/from shoot locations

· Occasional manual, physically demanding labor required.

Qualifications

· Previous experience with production/set installation, photo equipment and/or moving large furniture preferred

· Must have driver’s license and own car preferred for transportation to/from shoot locations

· Flexibility with schedule changes week to week

· Availability to work nights as needed

· Some travel required
