Job title: Assistant General Manager

Job description: David Aplin Group, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a talented Assistant General Manager to join their growing Scarborough office. Reporting to the General Manager, the AGM will also work closely with Medical Director, managers and team leads. The successful candidate will support the GM in providing supervision and direction to team members ensuring operational and service excellence. The successful candidate will require excellent people leadership and organizational skills to meet occurring deadlines and related company goals.

The Role:

• Strong leadership skills: experience managing multiple teams in the context of an operational environment with emphasis on excellent communication/coaching skills.
• Change Management: the ability to drive and manage positive change while considering people and financial ramifications.
• Adaptable/Flexibility; the ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment and effectively pivot between competing priorities.
• Support: provide the GM support in all aspects of operations including people, recruitment, finance, capital expenditures, and special projects.
