Job description: A strong #2 in command to the General Manager within casual dining full service.
Position Summary:
As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for our entire operations at the
independent store level. As a dedicated and goal oriented AGM, you will ensure all aspects of the business,
including your team, are operating to their full potential. You’ve got a keen eye for the small details and you lead by
example while living and breathing the Storm Crow culture! This position requires a truly motivated, inspiring and
systems driven personality with a passion for delivering on associate and guest experience. You will be responsible
for managing and exceeding budgeted goals in addition to creating and delivering on local store marketing initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Lead by example! Offer hands-on management style with exceptional leadership skills
● Implement, lead, coach and inspire team development at all levels
● Building a talent rich team, interviewing, hiring and establishing a ‘promote from within culture’ to enhance
retention
● Increase brand awareness through marketing initiatives and community outreach programs
● Meet and exceed financial targets including sales, cost of goods sold and labour
● Strong financial knowledge
● Responsible for building and maintaining a health and safety culture in your store
● Weekly scheduling for all managers that delivers on guest experience while balancing their quality of life
● Oversee culinary program; motivating the Kitchen Manager and their team to deliver on guest experience, food
quality and timing standards
● Review of hourly schedules and inventory in relevant software; Push/Optimum Control. Develops systems to
improve variances and standards.
● Monitors and responds to all guest concerns in house, online or otherwise. Designs and implements solutions to
ensure mistakes are not often repeated
● Ensure compliance for all provincial and federal regulations that pertain to our industry
● Proper maintenance and repairs for entire property, internal and external. First impressions start from the
sidewalk!
● Conduct weekly developmental meetings with salaried managers to increase performance
● Foster a culture of recognition and reward focused on the achievement of financial metrics, food quality and
performance
● Foreseeing problems before they arise and building contingency plans to ensure our guest and associate
experience never waivers
● Supporting and working with the General Manager on stretch duties and assignments
Education/Qualification:
● University or College designation in Hospitality or Culinary Management an asset
● Intermediate computer skills in MS Office (word, excel)
● Good understanding of phone applications and using them to optimize atmosphere of restaurant
● Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading teams of 60+ associates, including all salaried managers
● Able to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
● Subject matter expert on Human Rights, ESA and Health and Safety regulations in your Province
