This position is responsible for building and retaining relationships with our automobile dealerships across Canada. The credit associate will be communicating with Dealers, Sales, and the Funding Department through various mediums including phone, chat messages and email. This individual will be required to multitask throughout the day including answering and making outgoing phone calls, reviewing inbox items such as proof of income, and reviewing/decisioning applications. Key duties & responsibilities include:

• Review documents such as proof of income and make appropriate decisions on loan applications which meet acceptable underwriting standards, while maintaining high level of service to Internal and External customers. Answering questions from our Dealer base via incoming calls and chat messages.
• Ability to balance the demands of Production, Sales Support, Risk, and Quality Assessments as established
• Build and maintain proactive relationship with automobile dealers
• Build and maintain positive working relationship with peers and DFMs

Qualifications

• This is a part-time position. Candidates must be available for minimum 20 hours per week of shift work between the following hours. All hours are in EST:

• Eastern Canada Hours: Mon- Fri 8:30AM – 8:00PM & Saturdays 8:30PM – 9:00PM
• Western Canada Hours: Mon-Fri – 11:00AM – 11:00PM & Saturdays 11:00AM – 9:00PM
• High school diploma required. University / College degree; or working towards it preferred
• Customer Service Experience
• Call center experience is an asset
• Strong communications skills – oral and written
• Intermediate to advanced user experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and team building skills
• Bi-lingual French/English Preferred
