Job description: Pinnacle International is looking for an experienced Bartender to join our bar & restaurant team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Take guest’s food and beverage orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Use suggestive selling to maximize the guest experience.

· Fast and competent use of POS system.

· Deliver food and beverage orders in a timely and efficient manner.

· Follow all health and safety rules for responsible alcohol service and safe food practices.

· Take ownership of guest issues as they arise and follow through to complete resolution.

· Maintain an in-depth knowledge of menu items and promotions.

· Able to effectively explain ingredients and preparation methods for all menu items.

· Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.

· Perform general cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.

· Processing all payments and adhere to all cash, credit, debit and voucher policies & procedures.

· Professional image, with well kept and correctly worn uniform and excellent personal hygiene.

· Perform additional duties as assigned Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience:

· Minimum 3 years bartending experience.

· Serving It Right Certification.

· Food Safe Level 1 considered an asset.

· Knowledge of Italian food and beverage culture considered an asset.

· General Knowledge and understanding of wine considered an asset.

· Strong command of classic/international cocktails and ability to cater to customer requests.

· Ability to work with accuracy, efficiency, attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

· Must be self directed and motivated with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent communicate skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Recommended Training:
