About Our Client
Our client is a law firm located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. They provide expert advice in Motor Vehicle Accidents, Personal Injury, Strata Law, Disability Insurance, Estate Claims, Wills and Estate Planning, Employment, and Family Law. They are currently looking for a dedicated BOOKKEEPER to join their team on a part-time permanent basis to work 2 days a week. Responsibilities
- Full-cycle bookkeeping
- Trust and General accounts
- Preparing semi-monthly payroll
- Posting Accounts and firm receipts
- Reconciling corporate credit cards
- Reissuing stale-dated cheques and remitting GST and payroll deductions
- Doing accounts receivable follow-ups
- Developing and presenting monthly accounting reports to partners
- Performing other accounting and bookkeeping duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience in the legal industry is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Detail-orientated and adaptable
- Great time management skills
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
