Summary:

As the Business Analyst – Finance, you are responsible for developing and monitoring data quality metrics and ensure financial business data and reporting needs are met. In support of the organization’s digital transformation, you are also responsible for supporting the finance team in the digital development of the finance/accounting function.

What You’ll Do:

In this position, your mains duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Review, analyze and evaluate current and future business processes and user needs. Identify finance/accounting impacts with focus on inventory management.
  • Develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.
  • Act as a liaison between the various business functions and finance function
  • Analyze and prioritize various business needs and requests.
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve issues related to the finance/accounting function and/or business processes.
  • Streamline and improve internal and external reporting.
  • Understand current and future business processes; provide recommendations and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes.
  • Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support financial reporting data conversion activities.
  • Developing and implementing corporate dashboards using MS Power BI to provide interactive visualizations and business intelligence.
  • Organize and manage inventory, storage, and transportation.
  • Coordinate inventory and WIP cycle count process.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of finance/accounting processes surrounding technological solutions and maintain documentation related to them.
  • Perform junior accounting tasks and support the finance team in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing functions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations for all bank accounts on a monthly basis.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 1+ years of general accounting and inventory experience, preferably from a manufacturing environment and/or multinational organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or completion of equivalent academic training preferred
  • Experience working with large ERP systems, preferably Business Central
  • Excellent Excel skills and prior experience with Power BI preferred
  • Experience with multi-companies and multi-currencies transaction
