This Business Analyst position involves working on applications used by the National Bank’s Internal Audit and Risk groups in order to maintain them and make changes according to business needs. Your curiosity and passion will be valuable assets to our team. The Bank is undergoing a complete transformation and we are looking for curious individuals who are not afraid of change.
What will your day-to-day tasks be?
- Be aware of and understand the impact of changes on business processes and applications in order to provide this information to various audiences
- Communicate changes to stakeholders and lead workshops to come up with value-added solutions
- Ensure the quality of IT solutions and the smooth flow of activities under your responsibility, from conception to implementation
- Assist in projects for new solutions or platform changes
- Offer advice on implementing solutions to meet business needs
- Analyze and document business or functional needs
Work with the team to address issues
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience, OR university certificate and 8 years of relevant experience * Experience in business and functional analysis
- General technical knowledge of infrastructure
- Sense of leadership and initiative
- Problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate our values of collaboration, agility and empowerment
- Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
Valuable assets:
- Knowledge about risk
- Knowledge of eGRC systems
- Experience working in agile mode
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry
