Our client is looking for multiple collectors to join throughout the months of January to February. This is a key player in the Canadian market, likely a company that you have heard of, they are in need of high caliber professionals with strong business acumen to help them help evolve their B2C Collections department. You will also participate in a number of projects including process improvement tasks, team meetings, innovation initiatives, process change management, and be included in a new system implementation.

Location: Mississauga – Work in office – Possibility to work from home in the future
Duration: 1 year – contract to hire
Compensation: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour

The chosen incumbent will be responsible for:

-Making daily collection calls to consumers – 70+ calls a day
-Handling large portfolios, using Excel hourly and multiple system interfaces to perform job duties
-Comply with agreements assigned to customer accounts
-Adhere to payment terms
-Managing aging reports
-Take on new portfolio’s, adjust to business demands
-Reason with customers to ensure payment, educate customers
-Working with internal/external contacts to resolve balances
-Resolve discrepancies
-Settle accounts
-Assess credit

The chosen candidates must have:
-Approx 2+ years of B2C experience in a call center or bank setting
-Strong Excel
-Strong communications skills, able to communicate clearly and concisely
-Some sort of accounting or business background
