Kicking Horse Mountain Resort – Winter 2023/2024
You are a detail oriented, reliable individual who will be responsible for the daily audit and handling of the Resort’s revenues. You will work closely with our revenue generating departments to ensure all records are accurate and recorded appropriately. This role is a part-time position of 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will work 4 hours per day, 5 days a week. Due to the timing of cash outs being submitted, shifts must be completed in the morning, as opposed to the afternoon or evening.

Cash Office Assistant
You are a detail oriented, reliable individual who will be responsible for the daily audit and handling of the Resort’s revenues. You will work closely with our revenue generating departments to ensure all records are accurate and recorded appropriately. This role is a part-time position of 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will work 4 hours per day, 5 days a week. Due to the timing of cash outs being submitted, shifts must be completed in the morning, as opposed to the afternoon or evening.
You will:
- Audit and track all revenue collected within the resort.
- Perform cash handling duties (including counting, balancing, placing and fulfilling coin orders, etc.).
- Be an advocate for health and safety, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with any additional duties as assigned.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
You:
- Have previous experience with cash handling and reporting.
- Are reliable, trustworthy and able to provide a criminal record check.
- Have excellent Microsoft Excel, communication and organizational skills.
- Are knowledgeable with accounting systems – an asset.
- Have previously worked in the resort, recreation, hotel, or tourism industry – an asset.
