The Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for Chemical/Process Engineering Co-op Students interested in gaining on the job experience and training on one of our mills located in Saint John or St George NB.

As a valued member of the team, you will get the opportunity to have responsibility over a variety of tasks such as process engineering, quality assurance and testing lab(s).

Other tasks assigned to you may include:

  • Providing technical support and services to Operations department
  • Provide process engineering services as part of improvement projects across the site.
  • Process monitoring and data analysis to identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost.
  • Monitor effluent characteristics and ensure compliance with legal requirements/
  • Participate in troubleshooting of process, environmental and operational issues.

You Have:

  • Education Required: Chemical/Process Engineering Students available for co-op work term and in good academic standing.
  • Years of Experience Required:
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work safely both in the office and on mill construction sites.
  • Very good communication and organizational skills
  • High energy level with thorough attention to details
  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and problem solving skills
