We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil General Foreman to support our Midstream projects. Various shifts for various projects in both Alberta and British Columbia.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Set up work completion schedules
• Assist with project estimating, including labour, supplies and materials.
• Execute work in line with federal, provincial and client and company quality standards, codes and safety regulations.
• Communicating the job to and with craft workers
• Supervising crew tasks
• Daily interactions with client on progress and project requirements.
• Assist Project Manager on daily reports, schedules and manpower.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and supervisory experience is a definite asset
• Experience in heavy civil and pipeline reclamation scopes
• Qualified trades personnel with experience in heavy civil and pipeline scopes
• Knowledgeable in the MS suite of applications (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexible during times of change.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
• Previous experience in civil/earthworks projects
• Previous plant experience is considered an asset
