Job Description
This driver will have the opportunity to enjoy living and working in Northern Canada for one of the most successful LTL companies in the industry. The right candidate will be responsible for completing local deliveries within Yellowknife and the area promptly.
A normal work week is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and possibly Sunday. Start time of 8 am for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and a start time of 6 am for Sunday. Each shift is about 9 hours. This is a part-time position where the driver would be required to drive a straight truck or pickup truck depending on the need that day, and assist on the dock unloading and loading trailers.
This position will allow you to gain experience in the LTL business and possible advancement in the future.
Qualifications
- Class 5 license
- Experience in a warehouse and or delivering freight
- Reliable and dependable
- TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience is an asset
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver’s abstract, & 2 work-related references.
