Job description: The Client Logistics Specialist will contribute to the safe and efficient management of Summit Air flight programs. You will be providing support to the day-to-day operations and liaising with the Operational Control Centre regarding all aspects of aircraft movements and flights.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the smooth functioning of all Alberta base operations, ensuring delivery of service level agreements with service providers
- Cultivates positive and collaborative operational relationships with customers, vendors, Fixed Base Operators (FBO’s), suppliers and other external stakeholders, such as airport authorities.
- Anticipates problems, provides recommendations and takes proactive action to minimize/mitigate operational issues, informing appropriate stakeholders of flights delays, cancellations, or other emergencies. Monitors weather in preparation for irregular operations (IROPS).
Communicates and collaborates with Operational Control Centre to ensure administrative, logistic and hospitality support.
Reports KPI’s and other operational reports. Provides input to regional budget, providing oversight, cost saving initiatives, contracts and approvals of invoices. Assists Business Development team on initiatives when required.
Qualifications:
- 3 plus years of resource planning experience; flight following/dispatch experience preferred
- Aviation experience
- Previous experience in account management or B2B sales/customer service
- Familiarity with Transport Canada and/or aviation-related technical manuals and documents
- Strong proficiency in the MS Office and FOS
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and the ability to manage conflict
- Outstanding customer service skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Confident decision making and effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
