The Supreme Court of British Columbia is the province’s superior trial court. The Supreme Court is a court of general and inherent jurisdiction which means that it can hear any type of case, civil or criminal. It hears most appeals from the Provincial Court in civil and criminal cases and appeals from arbitrations. A party may appeal a decision of the Supreme Court to the Court of Appeal.
The Judicial Administrative Clerk performs a variety of legal administrative services to the Judiciary in either or both the Supreme Court of BC or Court of Appeal for BC, under the direct supervision of the Team Lead, and receives functional direction from Judges, Masters and Registrars.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Grade 12 graduation, plus courses related to legal secretarial services or equivalent.
- Experience providing administrative/secretarial support.
- Experience with current MS Office Suite, (eg. Word and Excel).
- Preference may be given to candidates with experience providing administrative/secretarial support in a legal environment.
- Preference may be given to candidates with experience working in the courts.
