Reports to Mill Maintenance Engineering Manager

This role is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.

This is a summer co-op position which begins in May 2021 and will last approximately 4 months. Active Recruitment to begin January 2021.

What you will do:

• Working in an office setting, as well as an industrial facility
• Field work at site including field measurements and project scoping
• Revise and create equipment drawings using AutoCAD
• Revise and create structural steel drawings using AutoCAD
• Assist with hard copy file vetting and cataloguing
• Some exposure to data entry

What you will bring:

• Preference will be given to Engineering Design and Drafting Students who have completed their 1st year of studies and are working towards a 2 year Diploma
• Experience in AutoCAD or Inventor software, preference given to AutoCAD users
• Competence in standard Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Access, and Word)
• Competence in the use of Excel spreadsheets
• Class 5 Drivers License
• Previous related work experience at a Potash refining facility or in another industrial setting is preferred
• Must be self-motivated along with the ability to pay close attention to detail and have a strong ability to work individually as well as in a team setting
