Role: The Compliance Coordinator reports to the AVP, Information Security & Compliance and works closely with works closely with 6 other IT Security Specialists. The incumbent will be responsible to lead, influence, and pioneer a pivotal role in the realm of compliance, actively contributing to the elevation of Equisoft’s Information Security Group (ISG) standards.
Your Day with Equisoft:
- Spearhead and oversee projects, with a focus on security enhancement, control remediation, and pre-audits.
- Coordinate and manage annual SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO audit and drive remediation and control improvement actions
- Perform internal security audits of various business processes, new projects, and functional areas
- administer the security awareness training program
- Monitor and adhere to project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverable standards and ensuring the highest quality at all times.
- Streamline and maintain documentation processes, capturing crucial actions and decisions from meetings.
- Lead regular and specialized reporting, while managing key risk indicators (KRI) and key performance indicators (KPI).
- Lead projects aimed at refining Equisoft’s Security, Risk, and Compliance management standards.
- Design, implement, and monitor key performance measures and indicators.
- Aid in the creation of new compliance processes while supporting and enhancing existing ones.
- Assist in comprehensive compliance risk evaluations and assessments across the enterprise.
- Prioritize compliance tasks based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with the Information Security Group to establish and validate compliance controls.
- Support in the design and implementation of robust compliance reporting structures.
- Coordinate and lead expansive global compliance projects, overseeing teams and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with the international compliance division in rolling out corporate compliance initiatives.
- Foster and nurture relationships with essential stakeholders both within and outside Equisoft.
Requirements:
Technical
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or information technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience
- A minimum of 5 years in security audit and compliance or similar function
- Prior experience within a SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance programs an asset.
- A proven ability to influence teams to ensure project timelines are met.
- An innate attention to detail coupled with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, agile setting.
- Self-starter qualities with a demonstrated ability to progress projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent knowledge of English & French (spoken and written)
- CISA, CISSP or similar certification (asset)
