Job description: Our client, a leading General Contractor with projects worldwide, is currently recruiting for a Construction Manager for their project in Toronto, ON that is experienced with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to join a multinational corporation with a strong presence in construction and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with MEP systems on projects, budgeting and scheduling, and cost reporting.

In this very exciting role, the selected candidate will be overseeing the MEP tasks associated with the project and will be creating and implementing strategies for project schedules and budgets. Their daily responsibilities include overseeing MEP project deliverables and construction activities, analyzing project requirements and related documentation, and developing plans regarding staffing, subcontracting, materials, etc.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
At least 10 years of MEP experience on heavy civil and large-scale infrastructure projects such as highways, roads, bridges, and LRT
Must have experience with MEP operations on construction sites in a supervisor capacity
Must have experience with structural, pressure piping and heavy civil construction
PMP certification is an asset
Advanced communication skills
