Job description: We’re hiring a Construction Superintendent for our Client in Vancouver.

About You:

You are an experienced construction site superintendent who built at least 2 concrete commercial projects in the Metro Vancouver area. You are an expert in concrete construction and have the ability to complete projects on-time and on-budget.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing the construction operations on site by adhering to schedules, budgets, safety and risk;

• Effectively manage construction staff and sub-contractors by providing guidance and leadership on construction activities and developing effectively liaise between the staff and the project manager;

• Develop and execute project work plans aimed at keeping the project on track and on budget.

Requirements

• Experience in minimum of 2 concrete commercial projects in the Metro Vancouver area, from start to finish, at Lead Superintendent capacity;

• Expert ability to manage project time-lines and budgets;

• Demonstrable ability to lead commercial construction projects in various phases concurrently;

• Strong understanding in concrete construction; and,

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
