What are we looking for?

Our business is growing and we’re looking for a Logistics & Installation Coordinator! Representing Whirlpool, a leader in the appliance industry, this role will require you to be on site at construction projects throughout the GTA, managing the arrival and installation of appliances.

We are seeking someone with a “Can Do’ attitude, someone who is creative and takes initiative in implementing different tactics and problem-solving solutions in a fast-paced environment. If this is the role for you, we would love to have you join our team!

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in trade pre-launch meetings to plan projects
• Ensure all site visits are ready for delivery
• Liaise with Site Supervisor regarding delivery requirements and/or concerns, troubleshoot
• Ensure units are delivered promptly and accurately
• Capture and report delivery discrepancies/damages, follow up with replacement request
• Provide weekly site progress reports
• Whirlpool Portal training

Qualifications:

• Previous experience on a construction site, site supervisor or similar capacity an asset
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people with varied communication styles
• Calmness under pressure, highly organized and attention to detail
• Demonstrated critical thinking ability to solve challenging problems
• Ability to work with and lead teams
• WHMIS and similar training, will provide if needed
• Problem solving, conflict resolution, time management and prioritization skills, including planning, organizing and coordinating projects and assigned tasks
• Ability to meet the time demands of unpredictable activities and is capable of handling pressure and challenges
• Is confident to work on a builder site without fear of heights
• Strong business acumen and focus on continual process improvement
