Job title: Counter balance and General labor
Job description: Our client in Brampton is looking for a Counterbalance operator who will be operating the forklift as well as will be performing manual order picking during the whole shift using pump truck
The job involves operating a sit-down counterbalance for only 1-2 hours in a shift and the rest of the shift is all manual picking using a dolly cart and pump truck. The candidate must have experience working in a warehouse environment and must have strong inventory skills to pick orders. The client deals with all plumbing and construction tools for example drill bits, rubber mallets, hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, floor tile cutters, tile cutter blades, knee pads, gloves, and many more products.

**INVOLVES 50% general labor and 50% forklift operation**
**FULL TIME ONLY**
Brampton – Kennedy Rd and Orenda Rd
Advantages
– steady hours
– warehouse work environment
– operating counterbalance forklift as well as manual general labor for order picking
– Day shift: Monday to Friday – 7:30 am to 4 pm
– Payrate – $20 per hour
– Over time based on operation s’ requirements
– work in a dynamic team
Responsibilities
– Order Picking using counter balance Forklift (50%)
– Order picking using RF scanner and walkie (50%)
– Performing quality control duties
– Ensuring that order is processed with minimal to no errors.
– Perform other Forklift duties as assigned by the supervisor
– Lifting up to 50 lbs – not consistent
– Safety Shoes are mandatory
Qualifications
– Valid Forklift license for Counterbalance
– 1 year practical experience on forklift
– 1 to 2 years of warehouse order picking experience
– Must be eligible to work 40 hours + in any given week
– Must pass the forklift test
