Job description: We are looking to fill a permanent full-time Credit Officer – Industrial position at our Ville St-Laurent offices for our Ontario clients.

Reporting to the Director, Credit – Industrial, your role will be, among other things, to ensure the responsibility of a portfolio of accounts receivable by analyzing accounts, making credit requests and implementing collection strategies when required.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of a retail credit officer are to:

Responsible for a portfolio of accounts receivable.
Communicate with customers to collect overdue amounts.
Release customer orders on a daily basis.
Carry out credit inquiries (active customers and new customers).
Work in collaboration with the sales and customer service team.
Build a solid business relationship with clients.
Investigate and resolve complaints
Hold a college diploma (DEC) in administration or have a combination of a relevant diploma and 5 years of experience in a similar job.
Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (particularly Outlook, Excel and Word).
Bilingualism (French and English) both written and spoken
Knowledge of AS400 and / or JD Edwards (JDE) systems (an asset)
