Social Worker, Counselling Therapist – Critical Incident Response

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Summary:

You will be providing group Critical Incident Response to TELUS Health’s organizational clients, as an independent contractor.

​What you will do:

• Provide Critical Incident Response to our organizational clients;
• Work/travel to an on-site location;
• Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health’s Trauma department.

Who we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in counselling, psychology, or social work;
• Registration with the NCSSW or NSCCT and valid professional liability insurance;
• CISM, CISD training or EMDR certification is an asset;
• Experience delivering group critical incident debriefing and/or running counselling groups;
• Ability to convey sensitivity, professional manner and effective approach when facilitating interventions within the corporate environment;
• Flexibility to respond to client needs.
