Job description: Long Point Eco-Adventures is seeking a detail-oriented, cheerful, and reliable individual who is an excellent problem solver, to join our full-time staff. As the customer service & hospitality coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing our front of house and cleaning staff. You will ensure that we are providing an exceptional customer service experience to all clients over the phone, in the Welcome Centre, and in our accommodations. The successful applicant will possess a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills and willingness to assists guests with any requests that may arise. A high level of initiative and ability to work as a team is essential to being a Long Point Eco-Adventures employee.

Customer Service & Hospitality Coordinator responsibilities include (are not limited to):

  • Work with reception staff to ensure a quality level of customer service is experienced by all guests
  • Coordinate with cleaning staff and perform spot checks to ensure the highest level of room cleanliness is met
  • Work with customers and guests to resolve any outstanding issues they may have on-site or during the booking process
  • Greet all guests with a friendly smile and willingness to assist with any request
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service, and communicate with guests in a positive and professional manner
  • Act as an ambassador for Long Point Eco-Adventures both on and off site
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications:

  • A diploma or degree in a related discipline, including hospitality, tourism, adventure guiding, customer relations, etc. is preferred but not required
  • Must have very strong communication skills including telephone and email etiquette
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-paced environment is very important
  • Must be friendly and professional at all times
  • Experience working with computers and POS systems
  • Able to stay calm and make decisions during stressful situations
  • Able to work well with others for long periods of time during a shift
  • Must have a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must

This is a full-time, seasonal position that requires you be available to work days, weekends and
holidays from April 20th – October 28th. If we find the right candidate, this position would be recurring yearly, with the possibility of becoming year-round full-time. The successful candidate must be available for training from April 30th-May 5 (no exceptions).
