As the Customer Service Representative, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing our customers with a seamless experience while working hand in hand with production and logistics to capitalize on internal efficiencies.

Your day to day activities will include:

  • Manage automated feeding programs and standing orders
  • Curate and process orders accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all orders are generated accurately and accompanied by appropriate labelling
  • Interface with sales team regarding customer requirements
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through direct, open and interactive communication in order to provide excellent customer service
  • Professional and pleasant phone disposition in dealing with internal and external customers in a timely manner
  • Keeps salesperson informed about order status and arising challenges
  • Ensure execution based on established processes flows and procedures
  • Answer telephone, when required, redirect requests to the appropriate department
  • Departmental coverage during absences or as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education and/or two years relevant experience
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of software products
  • Strong analytical skills with a desire to learn
  • Mathematical reasoning skills
  • In-depth understanding of and a strong interest in the agriculture industry
  • Can work independently and in a team environment
  • Effective time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines, and achieve targets in a team environment
  • Passion, personal alignment, and commitment to the mission of New-Life Mills
  • Demonstrate applicable ethics and due diligence
  • Effective attention to detail
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
  • Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanour
