Trouw Nutrition is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Antigonish, NS. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Customer Service, able to participate in the sales development and the smooth running of the location. We count on your keen experience to handle customer orders, coordinate with Supply, Logistics, and Operations in order to meet requests. You will also focus on building and nurturing customer relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Customer Service Representative works closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide them with the insight they are looking for and help them complete their purchases. The main function of the department is to handle orders and to provide coordination with customers about products, delivery options and complaints. The client base may include a variety of customers, from independent clients as distributors to individual farmers, and customers covered by a key account.
A Day in the Life…
- Deal with our customers questions, requests and concerns.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
- Accept and process incoming orders, answer questions, solve problems
- Answer questions about product assortment and applications, production based on standard product, quoting prices and delivery times (training provided)
- Participate in process improvements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous Customer Service experience, focused on excellence
- Customer management and strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- High level of computer competency including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
