We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative-Part-Time in Bolton, Ontario.

This is an ongoing, part-time position and applicants should be available to join the crew for each of the scheduled sales per calendar year at our sale site in March, May, July, September, and December. The time commitment could involve working 2-3 weeks each sale. Our auctions are all-day events, so hours are typically much longer than 8 hours per day each auction cycle. Hours are not that long anymore since there are no live auctions.

The Opportunity:

The Customer Service Representative will answer inquiries and process payments, communicate with buyers regarding purchases, payments, appointments, and picking up equipment post sale.

In this role you’ll:

  • Process Bidder Payments
  • Contact successful bidders to advise payments, appointment booking, and pickup process.
  • Track interactions relating to customer requests and proactively reports areas of customer concerns.
  • Ensure confidentiality while dealing with bidders and consignors.
  • Provide customers with information about upcoming auctions and auxiliary services.
  • Ensure that superior customer service is delivered at all times to all customers.
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed
  • Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.

  • Experience using computers, and the ability to learn new technology/software.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills.
