About Us
Eat Local Grey Bruce is a not-for-profit co-operative of producers and eaters. We operate an online farmers’ market, aggregate food in our Owen Sound warehouse, and distribute to homes throughout Grey-Bruce.
Our operations are growing. This growth was steady in 2019 at 35%. Then it exploded in March 2020 with the emergence of COVID-19. Orders increased to almost 250% of our usual volume in a single week. By providing home delivery, we get food to people in a safe and efficient manner. Before COVID-19 we were delivering to 100+ households per week. Since mid-March 2020, we are now delivering to 200+ households, sustained at that level through stages of reopening. We continue to look at ways to continue to grow and mature as an organization.
Do you have what it takes to work in our organization?
- Able to handle a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Great attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Motivated team player
- Respectful of new and developing public health directives
- Can make a commitment for at least 6 months
- Can lift upwards of 50lbs
