WHY JOIN THE TEAM * You will work closely with various multidisciplinary teams to determine the most optimal strategies for the design, packaging and delivery methods of parts for production.
- You will represent the vehicle assembly site in the early stages of product development (“Early Gates”) with regards to logistics and incoming material management.
- As a strategic collaborator, your mission will be to optimize the supply chain for parts dedicated to the manufacture and assembly of our vehicles, on a global scale.
- You will face multiple stimulating challenges, working at the heart of transformation, innovation and continuous improvement at BRP.
YOUR KEY REPONSABILITIES
- Collaborate with vehicle engineering teams, the purchasing group and all other teams involved in product development, in order to propose the best logistics strategies for production.
- Perform part design reviews using a modeling tool to identify opportunities for modifications to optimize or confirm packaging and transportation of parts.
- Perform analyzes aimed at optimizing the costs related to the transportation of parts, packaging, inventory management, logistics labor as well as our warehousing capacity.
- Coordinate and follow up on the various logistics deliverables required by the NPD (“New Product Development”) process for the first phases of development initiated by the establishment of the business plan.
- Identify and analyze the budgetary requirements of the project, prepare the necessary documentation to obtain it and ensure its follow-up.
- Define packaging strategies, advance standards for different parts containers and ensure they are respected.
- Ensure a technological and strategic watch by staying connected to the best practices of the industry.
- Build and maintain a network of external partners in order to introduce new concepts to BRP.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations / logistics management or other relevant fields.
- Minimum of (3) years of relevant and significant experience (product development, supply chain management, manufacturing operations).
- Increased knowledge of Excel software in order to be able to perform data processing.
- Bilingual in English and French, both oral and written – advanced level (4/5).
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations and / or logistics (warehousing, transport, etc.)
- Knowledge of modeling software (CATIA,) – an asset.
- Knowledge of SAP (WM, MM, PP) – an asset
- Ease of working in a team in a consensual decision-making mode with multidisciplinary and multicultural partners.
- Excellent ability to analyze various complex parameters while being able to synthesize and popularize information to various audiences.
- Recognized leadership aptitude being able to demonstrate exemplary rigor of work.
- Great autonomy in carrying out his tasks and showing tenacity to manage several files simultaneously and deliver them “turnkey”.
- Spirit endowed with strong creativity with a propensity for innovation and questioning the status quo.
- Ease of integrating new work tools in a context where they are constantly evolving.
