  • Providing IT , EPMO and Labour Relations business finance support for decisions that impact profitability

Job Description

Information Technology “IT”

  • Provide business case analysis and support for the evaluation and control of IT expenditures (including e-commerce) both capital and non capital
  • Monitor and hold the business accountable to IT expenditures (incl. e-commerce) both capital and non capital
  • Responsible for the monitoring, controlling, reporting and governance of all IT project costing and expenditures
  • Support vendor analysis in renewals, contract negotiation and costing

EPMO Finance Support

  • Support finance governance policy and execution for EPMO led Projects
  • Align and Support budgeting, reporting and forecasting requirements for EPMO Projects.

Labour Relationss

  • Provide finance support to review cost analysis for bargaining mandates, update to contracts, etc.
  • Align governance support to company policy.
  • Provide appropriate review, analysis and support to Shared Services in support of the accuracy, completeness and efficiency of period end close
  • Create a coaching and development culture for all employees
  • Develop strategic department plans to obtain achievement of goals
  • Optimize allocation of resources to maximize productivity and results
  • Execute standards to ensure good corporate governance
  • Develop action plans for general efficiencies and required improvements

People Leadership

  • Participate in the recruiting, interviewing and selection process of new employees
  • Provide leadership, coaching, development, training and career planning to direct reports
  • Ensure direct report roles and capabilities are optimally aligned with the department’s strategic direction providing advice for continuous improvement to direct reports
  • Manage direct reports including: selection, orientation, training and development, performance management, succession planning and compensation

Job Requirements

  • An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Professional designation (CMA, CA, CGA)
  • 3-5 years experience leading a team(s)
