Ingredion is hiring a Director of Human Resources to support the U.S. and Canada Commercial, Strategy and Finance organizations. This HR Director will be the strategic business partner to 3 General Managers/Vice Presidents, who serve on the North American Executive Committee. In this role, you report to the Vice President of Human Resources for North America and are a key member of the Business Leader Team (BLT) of the Ingredient Solutions business and will also partner with the U.S./Canada Finance and Strategy team to deliver effective human resources leadership and solutions that are consistent with business strategy and promote improved organizational effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of organizational plans and structural improvements in connection with the company’s overall specialty growth strategy.
  • Closely partner with senior leaders in leading HR strategy for their respective businesses/functions. Provide executive level coaching and HR leadership for their full organizations. Help to build effective, high performance teams with each leader.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure effective business process and organization design. Lead smooth implementation of organization design with effective change management and communication; ensure right employees in right roles with transparent, fair and rigorous employee selection.
  • Actively consult and provide solutions related to workforce, talent and organizational matters to business leaders in the United States and Canada.
  • As part of the NA HR leadership team, you will have the opportunity to work on special projects beyond the client teams to continue to advance the HR strategy in North America and across the entire HR function.
  • Develop forward-thinking solutions based on understanding of relevant business operations and strategies.
  • Develop and drive workforce and talent strategic plans to enable the business growth agenda.
  • Advise on the design and implementation of HR programs, ensuring programs remain relevant to the business supported.
  • Champion the organizational purpose, values and culture.
  • Identify business needs and lead organizational change initiatives.
  • Partner internally with global HR Communities of Expertise and HR Shared Services to implement HR solutions that meet the distinctive challenges of the business.
  • Focus on the future of work, with a strong connection to what is happening externally.
  • Shape and drive HR strategy with a business perspective. Deliver business and HR strategy through development of talent, workforce & workplace solutions
  • Provide feedback on HR policies, processes and programs to CoEs and HR Shared Services.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • At least 10 years of experience in human resources partnering with senior level leaders.
  • Undergraduate degree required, masters preferred
  • Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen and ability to translate into people strategy
  • Ability to build & foster relationships with business leaders
  • Abiltiy to influence decisions to produce positive business outcomes
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work across multiple levels of the enterprise, with strong consulting agility
  • Strong knowledge of compensation, talent management, talent acquisition, employee & labor relations, org design, workforce planning, and change management
  • Demonstrates ability to be a change leader and have the ability to adapt to emerging trends
  • Demonstrate digital awareness and analytics understanding
  • Demonstrates innovative, visionary leadership and strategic thinking
  • Ability to push strategy forward
