Our client is looking for an experienced entrepreneurial Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments.

Responsibilities:

Heads/Leads the accounting department

Works with the accounting staff to ensure all accounting and financial reporting activities are completed on an accurate and timely basis

Prepares monthly cash flow statements and weekly loan and cash balance statements, for the President and management

Prepares regular company metrics and special reports for the President and management

Communicates with and meets partners and investors on an as needed basis

Annually, prepares and presents asset value analysis and reviews and updates regularly

Develops and implements accounting policies, procedures and systems to ensure company financial information is fairly stated

Assists external auditors as required

Provides the necessary financial reporting support to the formulation of the 5 year and one-year planning targets

Helps determine the steps required to achieve the targets

Creates the corporate metrics necessary to ensure targets are being met and creates monitors and reports on the tracking towards the targets

Allot funds for capital projects and work with the Director of Facilities to ensure they stay on track financially

Qualifications:

CPA designation

Minimum of 5 years proven experience as director of finance or similar role

In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices

Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting

An analytical mind with a strategic ability

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
