Job description: This is a fabulous role for a Sports Enthusiast. Our client, a global services company, who work with clients across many business verticals (including sports & entertainment), is looking to hire a Director of Finance. This role is located downtown Toronto and is 100% on-site. Please note that the salary range listed is “all-in” compensation.

Snapshot of the Role:

· Responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

· Responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business and leading financial strategy and planning.

· Oversight of the Accounting and Finance functions.

· Monitoring and analyzing capital and operating budgets, including monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, cash forecasting, and ad hoc business analyses.

Your Key Qualifications:

– University Degree (Accounting, Finance, or related field). CPA preferred.

– Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance – Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software required.

– Must be highly analytical, can think creatively, and understand complex business dynamics.

– Knowledge of Appetize and NCR Quest point of sale systems, and ABI payroll system a plus.

– Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including nights, weekends, and holidays.

– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and team leadership.
