The Job!

This is a “hands-on” working Director role. You will be a member of the executive team overseeing the operations and finance for the company. right-hand person to the President and run the Finance Department and complete all the financials for the company.

• Managing finance and operational planning
• Develop and maintain improvements within the areas of accounting and operations
• Development of privacy and financial programs and policies
• Lead in development of operational plans
• Work with external auditor to complete the annual audits
• People and performance management
• Identifies risk resolutions across the organization
• Develop strategies and present recommendations to the executive team
• Present the companies’ initiatives and designated events

What you bring to the job

You are an insightful, analytical decision-maker with a “get this job done” kind of attitude. You can lead a small team and understand the culture of a smaller setting.

• University degree in related program
• CPA(CMA) designation
• Must have the ability to transform strategy into operational functions
• Knowledge of business and financial analysis
• Expert with accounting and auditing standards
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Project Management skills
• Superior communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of Privacy legislation is considered an asset.
• Computer literate
• 8+ years’ with financial management experience
• 4+ years’ strategic management experience
