As the Director of Operations Run you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of technologists who are supporting and maintaining varied technology solutions. As an agile leader, customer and delivery focus will be innate drivers that inform your decision making, helping prioritize your focus within a constantly evolving environment.

THE DETAILS

Provide exceptional leadership and development to a diverse team of technologists

Maintain and build successful business relationships while providing direction on deliverable expectations and commitments

Direct and prioritize workload, removing barriers and challenging the status quo

Foster and build engagement by empowering teams, recognizing individual contributions and collaboration in an authentic and tangible way

Drive, lead and champion the development of all technology strategies and roadmaps within the Operations Run team

Maintain a strong focus on continuous process management and improvement

Measure and manage key operational and quality delivery metrics

Develop annual operating budget and continuously manage cost structure

WHO YOU ARE

Professionally:

A University Degree or College Diploma holder (or have relevant experience)

An experienced technologist in complex IT environments (network, systems and end user)

A practiced leader with experience coaching, driving and building diverse teams

A performance driver with experience in Agile Development and Delivery, and SCRUM

A natural communicator, effective at interacting with teams, management and leadership in a diverse and vast environment

A community builder who can listen, understand and influence in authentic and productive ways

Focused on providing a customer and client experience that is second to none

Demonstrated resourcefulness and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Hyper focused with exceptional attention

Technically:

PROSCI (ADKAR) Certified

ITIL Foundations Certified

Six Sigma Green Belt Certificationan asset

Has a solid understanding of:

Data Center Networks

SDWAN

Access Networks

Data Center Virtualization

Cloud Services, Server, Storage and Backups

End User Technologies; Computing, Mobility, Collaboration and Video Conferencing
