In this Dual rate role you will also mentor your team to ensure the smooth functioning of cashiering activities and promote a flawless guest experience! Key Responsibilities
- Count and verify opening and closing floats for all coin, currency, chips, and marketing items.
- Verifies cashier opening and closing floats, authorizes cage transactions, reconciles chip Completes reports, investigations, periodic audits and reconciliations
- Exchange foreign and domestic currency.
- Counts cash and value chips according to company policies and procedures.
- Records transactions in Casino Management Software and verifies printed reports.
- Supervises cashiering activities and cage operations; manages the performance of Cashiers through training, coaching, and feedback
What You Bring
- Minimum of six months of cash-handling experience.
- Ability to add, multiply, and balance floats and spreadsheets.
- The ability to obtain registration with the AGCO.
- Ability to pull, lift, and carry objects such as a cashier tray and can transport a heavy cart.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Good manual dexterity to accurately handle cash, tickets, and chips.
- A friendly, polite, patient and courteous energy.
- Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors.
- Ability to work on your feet and provide solutions quickly.
- Open to working flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
