What You Will Do:
As part of the MEP Content Operations team, the Electrical Content Specialist will be responsible for managing and providing feedback for electrical content across a large range of Trimble products. This position will work closely with the existing operations team, Next Generation Operations stakeholders, and from time to time, the Manufacturer & Distributor Advocacy teams.
Work with current Operation, Product and Development teams to identify opportunities for electrical content improvement across Trimble Next Generation and Legacy Estimating and BIM software.
Cross reference expert in relation to electrical construction products
Ability to assist our customer support teams (as needed) with domain specific advice
Work in an agile environment with developers, content teams, and key stakeholders
Communicate with management and key stakeholders on progress, prioritization, and issue resolution
Collaborate with in office and remote teams
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
Experience (3+ years) within the electrical construction industry
Familiarity with the MEP construction process
Experience managing databases and content
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
Be able to work in an agile work environment and with cloud-based communication tools (Jira, Google docs, etc.)
Great organizational and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to learn and understand complex technology
Experience collaborating and coordinating with remote coworkers
Keen eye for detail
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills:
Ability to work with, and analyze, large sets of data using spreadsheets and/or database tools
Experience with construction estimating or BIM software
Experience using macros &/or pivot tables with spreadsheets
Experience working with SQL a plus
