YOUR OBJECTIVE:
Assist the lead electrical engineer and contribute to the development of cutting-edge electronic circuits designed for ultra controlled vertical farming application.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Reporting to the lead electrical engineer, you will participate in the assembly and test on new design prototypes. You will interpret electronic schematics and troubleshoot issues using electronic equipment such as an oscilloscope, a programmable AC source, current probes, high voltage differential probes, multimeter. You might be asked to help the production meet important target dates, or help them debug issues on the line. On occasions you will order electronic components from distributors and stock them accordingly.
Your support will occasionally be required for maintenance on the different installations. Troubleshooting and solving issues in the field will also be required at times.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
A minimum of 7 years as a technician in electronics, with a good attitude and the desire to win. You need to be open minded to new ideas while developing products for a new market.
You must have the ability to read electronic schematics, bill of material, assembly drawing and gerber files. You need to know how to use electronic laboratory equipment in a safe manner. You need to have a methodological, procedural approach during debugging. You must have relevant work experiences in switch mode power supplies. Experience with embedded systems is also a big plus. Experience on PCB assembly line highly valued.
YOUR ACADEMIC TRAINING:
DEC in electronic conception, DEC computerized systems
YOUR ACCOUNTABILITY:
Produce state of the art quality PCB assemblies for new design prototypes
Understand and execute test plans
Gather adequate oscilloscope waveforms
Troubleshoot issues
Write reports
YOUR PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must have a good vision
Must have good dexterity
Must be in good physical shape
