My client, an industry leader, is currently looking to add an Export Coordinator to their high performing team. The Export Coordinator will be responsible for improving the performance and efficiency of day to day operations throughout the organization. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong analytical skills with the ability to take initiative and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

What the Export Coordinator does:

• Oversees transportation and logistics operations to ensure products arrive in a timely manner and in excellent condition
• Problem solving with Sales and other Stakeholders
• Market knowledge and analysis (rates, service level, lanes)
• Export documentation (Commercial Invoices, Certificate of Origin and other related Certificates and Permits)
• Freight management – pickup and delivery, problem solving and shipment updates
• Freight and Invoice audit
• Provide after sale support or other operational requirement

What the company will expect from you:

• Previous experience in International Logistics
• Post-Secondary Education in International Business, Logistics or related
• Strong understanding of International Import/Export
• Excellent computer skills – Word & Excel
• Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing critical deadlines
• Experience with customs documentation and procedures (LOC)
• Proficiency with ERP, SAP preferred
